Established in 2010, ksinkksink.com has designed and created hundreds of quality custom instrumental accessories known as Ksink Ksink, sege sege, sesse, ksing ksing, kesing kesing, djembe ear's and resonators. KsinkKsink.com is a vision that evolved from a hobby.
It is our mission to enhance your djembe experience with our beautiful Ksink Ksink. A set of Ksink Ksink adds volumes of amazing sound and character to every djembe.
The inspiration for ksinkksink.com started at the early stages of learning to play djembe. The connection felt while becoming familiar with the djembe sparked a passion to learn more about the music, the people and the culture. Immediately, an interest in learning how to make the djembe speak lead to an enthusiasm for the craft, how it is made, put together, and tuned. It didn't take long to notice various djembe 'ears'.
Upon seeing various versions of Ksink Ksink in workshops, stores and online, most of these items were poor quality, made out of tin cans, heating duct, roofing tiles and other materials. Looking to enhance the sound of my djembe, the decision was made to make a set of my own, with quality materials. I also wanted to add a personal touch and engraved a personal design into them. Soon, many drummers and non-drummers liked them so much they started asking if I could make personalized sets for them.
